Losing Weight With Prayer

The unwanted weight we accumulate on our bodies is the result of stress, which is caused by thinking - specifically, Dagger Kayaks thinking. By negative thinking, I simply mean those thoughts which cause our body to experience the feelings of fear, worry, grief, anger, guilt, shame, embarrassment, and so on. These emotions are all the result of stress, or the stress response; and, as such, are all indicators that you are in a state of stress. Any thoughts - conscious or unconscious - which put you in stress trigger your body's protective stress-mechanisms.

When the body's stress response is active, digestion slows down, the immune system is weakened, and the stress hormone Cortisol is released. Cortisol helps your body convert that undigested food into fat and then store it in case you need it later. Fat is produced by the body in order to protect us during times of stress. Fat offers protection from starvation, from the elements, and from unwanted attention; fat Wilderness Systems Kayaks pads our bones and organs - protecting us from impacts - and makes us appear larger to our enemies. Fat is our friend; and as a creation which indeed serves us in many ways, we should give thanks for our fat - and then release it by releasing the negative thoughts and emotions causing our bodies to hold on to the past (including the food we have eaten) in order to protect us from the future.

Prayer helps us lose weight in a number of ways. First, when in the proper state of mind for prayer, you are not in stress - or your stress response is in the process of turning itself off. When you relax and pray, your body is in a healing state and is releasing excess stress and weight. Another way to lose weight with prayer is to visualize and affirm a healthier you - smiling and having fun being healthy and fit. Don't stare in the mirror and hate what you see; love what you see in the mirror and it will gradually become that which you wish it to be. This will not happen if you are on bad terms with your body because of years of negative self-talk. Change the image of yourself in your mind into the ideal you; and then, stay positive and do what you are inspired to do. A happy person, with health and fitness on their mind, will soon be inspired to do something fun and healthy.

Prayer can also help you change your thoughts and attitudes about yourself, your life, and the food you eat. By choosing better thoughts, you'll experience better emotions and you'll find yourself doing more beneficial and rewarding Jackson Kayak with your time.
